The two hidden villages named Mimi and Salumi offers picturesque views, verdant surroundings, bewitching waterfalls, housing caves and daunting natural constructions.

Sukhayap or Lover’s Paradise:
Sukhayap or Lover’s Paradise is another fascinating location in Kiphire. It is a cliff that can be ascended only with the help of ladders. It is quite dangerous but can be done with strong determination. The cliff is well known for its interesting legends. As per the famous legends, two lovers who were not allowed to be united by the family and society, sacrifice their lives from here. Wawade, the gorgeous waterfall is situated between the mimi and Khonga villages. The waterfall free falls from a height of 200ft. Feast your eyes on the beauty of the scenic waterfall and behold those moments. In order to have a perfect glimpse of the waterfall proceed to Laluri Village that offers stunning views of the waterfall. In addition to this waterfall, you will get a chance to witness three other waterfalls, each about 100 ft high.
Mihki, the Salt River flows near Sophie believed to have healing attributes. The water of Mihki used to prepare salt cakes by the Sangphure villagers. In former times these cakes used as a means of exchange or currency.
Fakim Wildlife Sanctuary:
Fakim Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the significant places to visit in Kiphire. Situated close to the Myanmar (Burma) border in the picturesque northeastern state of Nagaland. It is a paradise not only for wildlife enthusiasts but also for nature lovers. The sanctuary is a habitat for numerous variety of flora, fauna, and avifauna. Some of the famous fauna that you can find easily here are Tiger, hoolock gibbon, Himalayan bear, bison, sambar, panther, jungle cat, barking deer, wild boar, slender loris and more.
It is recognized as a wildlife sanctuary in 1983. Spreads over an area of 642 hectares. The sanctuary is situated in a place that receives heavy rainfall between June and July every year. As a result of the heavy rainfall, the Fakim Wildlife Sanct boasts evergreen rich vegetation. The idle time to visit the sanctuary between November and February.
Saramati Peak is the highest peak in Nagaland which is situated at an elevation of 3841 m. And is located on the Nagaland-Myanmar border. The tourist can enchant the scenic vistas and serene ambience from anywhere while ascending to the peak. The Saramati Peak is engulfed by the snow during winters.
